Over the weekend, I finally finished watching Strike Witches, and I decided to write a review for it… F*cking hent*i…
Just kidding. That is a bit harsh. Strike Witches is actually not that bad. I first decided to watch it because of all the loli yuri potential. It did not let me down. The yuri is definitely there. Sanya and Eila, as well as Lucchini and Charlotte, are only some of the numerous yuri pairs among the cute characters.
As the images suggest, Strike Witches is a very fan servicing anime focused especially on gratuitous pantsu shots. Although such blatant ecchi is usually not to my taste, I do not particularly mind. Perhaps because I am much more of a pantsu person than an oppai person, and I am a bit of a lolicon. (Just a bit?)
However, there were several scenes that simply made me blush and feel really guilty and embarrassed, especially if you were to watch Strike Fansub’s uncensored version…
By the way, I probably saw more pantsu and camel toes in the first episode of Strike Witches than I have in all other anime combined. Skirts and pants apparently do not exist in this world. The panties come in different varieties as well, shimapan, pantyhose, school swimsuit, bikini, string thongs… etc. Couple that with different mimis and tails, and Strike Witches is definitely full of all kinds of moe for everyone.
I particularly like Sanya’s pantyhose.
Shimada Fumikane’s Strike Witches artbook is also very cute.

Also, the yuri doujins that stem off of Strike Witches are all mostly quite good.

Look at the picture above, where did all the chocolate Pocky go? Yours truly took all of it, nothing left for you. Pocky is known to be a snack related to anime. Most anime series has characters eating Pocky as a snack. That’s the secret of my addiction to it. It’s very famous specially in Japan, the country of its birth. I found it being sold in Shamiya Co-op not long ago. One small pack is for half dinar.
today was mostly dreary and cloudy all day..the sky was all white and made the day feel surrealyeah..hmm, not really feeling like writing today, but important things and re-telling of day to be said..i woke up late after spnding most of the night reading the bridget jones columns from 2005-2006 which end with Bridget having Daniel Cleaver’s baby. me and mrent then went on errands to grocery store, marshalls, found bra with no underwire..whoa..got awesome corn pancakes with white queso mexican cheese, chicken rice-a-roni, and strawberry fresa cookies (2/3rds of which were sample foods today)..then later today went to anime club with roo..hmm, well, let me say that was..interesting..after we ate at cafeteria and got free bags of personal hygiene products..haha, me and roo each grabbed our gender correct ones without even realizing we did..yay. and roo put deodorant on mid-walk and i got a mini-tide pen..so yeah…anime club..lets see, most of people there were guys..like really..there were about 5 girls..really..so we got there little late..right as first of 6 animes we’d watch ended..second one we saw was called sweet blue flowers…ugh..it was pretty bad..about two lesbian protagonists..it was slow, boring..and just..overall terrible . the next one was the best of the night–hasukoi limited..so funny.i highly recommend it..then onto action animes..1st one was gothic horror, legend of the golden witch, i think..it was creepy and disturbing..next one was cannan, best of the action ones, last one tokyo magnitude 8.0..super slow..like sweet blue flowers..so those were the animes..afterward went to village inn for bit and listened to guy things.,,couldn’t really stay much..b/c got worried/guilt call about rents..and felt kinda embarrassed at leaving..sigh, peopel there were planning on staying out ALL night..gee..oh right..forget..they don’t live at home..yeaah, felt little bad about having roo leave too..eck..wish was less restricted with staying out sometimes..oh well..anime club wasn’t what i expected really..hmm..need to get back to hw

I just finished watching Management, Jen Aniston and..dunno the guy. Did not really like the movie, kinda dragging. I didn’t even realized that it was ending already. Anyway, the concept is there. When someone struck you big time, you can really go all out to chase that person even if it meant across the states. Love surprises you when and where it appears. Unusual places makes it exciting and crazy at the same time; but when it’s there, it’s there. Sigh.
Finished watching the anime Lovely Complex also earlier. Soooo nice. I just love it. It made me smile all day. Lovelovelove. The never ending discussion about it.
I was gonna say something else but I think I’m already dazed. Will just continue analyzing the movies tomorrow.
