The second season of the K-ON! anime franchise was announced after the “Let’s Go!” live concert in Yokohama on Wednesday. When the concert’s two encores ended, the large onstage screen displayed footage from the first season of the television anime series. Then the screen displayed an announcement that the second season has been green-lit.
The anime’s official website has also confirmed that production on the second season has been green-lit. The anime adapted kakifly’s four-panel comedy manga about a budding high school band.
So its almost time for a new year to begin, well close enough anyway…*cry* no airing for any anime series….
Ok enough of that…
Now I’m going to go over what i thought were some of the most memerable anime series in 2009, let’s go! Before i get onto that note i think our favourite comic artist is kinda busy…

BUT I DO DARE SAY IT, it’s kinda gone sour now, 13 eps was defiantly not enough in my opinion, they could probably do a second season as the manga is still going, and for some reason it looks like its going to go into university life O.0 But thats just me. This anime was great overall.
Bakemonogatari
Again i DARE SAY IT! This defiently needs more, last few episodes were quite sour maybe to lighten the load on all action and killing (not that there was actaully any), other than that it was also one of shaft productions great series’.
To Aru Kagaku no Railgun

This anime was just awsome, it really lifted my mood while watching it, AND its not over yet, another 11 more eps, according to sources.
Hayate no Gotoku!!
This double season of anime; first one was a tad long, second was kinda ok size; was exaclty what i needed in my regular weekly kick of anime.
Ok so there ain’t much of a storyline, just all the parodies are good enough. And Hina
Umi Monogatari
Hmm this anime was quite boring at the start, i’d admit that i was going to just stop watching it, but with the opening by Marble and the insert song put exaclty in the right place along with the decent storyline was just VERY unexpected that it made my day.
Hatsukoi Limited
Yep this series was just awesome, Marble sining the ending makes its very awesome and ALSO the CHRISTMAS SONG INSERT is by marble Oh yeah cant forget the other insert, uh i think it was end of ep 9, Just perfect placement there.
Kanamemo
Oh my god this series is just, im not sure how to explain it exactly. It is just hilarious and heart warming at the same time.

Sora no Manimani
Finally i think this would be my absolute most favourite in the whole year. Sora no manimani is just hilarious, serious, relaxing, heartwarming, awesome. Ok i think i ran out of words in my vocab…

This post was actually fueled by being bored with playing “a certain children’s card game”, though temporary. Going back to being a bum, i finally found the time to surf the web again for good images, lurking at sankaku’s channel, minitokyo and konachan (too lazy to mention the rest) and found good harvest.

Not actually a favorite of Belphegor among the 7 (despite wearing pony tails) but i like to point out how her art in this piece resembles Kurenai Shinkuro from the manga Kure-nai... maybe done by the same illustrator ~_~
Juza Amakusa never felt important in the anime. Then again, we may get to see him and ange in season 2. One interesting fact to note was that if Ange died in the game world, did she also die in real life? she went to visit her family's grave after all, does that mean she didn't come back to where Juza and the boatman are?
Competitive beauty against Senjogahara for the previous season's anime... Senjogahara wins though (her Saimoe potential is strong)
Umineko's fanservice is (in my opinion) the next best thing from Sayaka Ohara's laughter
By now i recognized her composition as 70% creepy and 30% moe. When the series began her creepiness were off the scale

Can't help but feel sorry for Envy. Speaking of which, I wonder on which series this season we'll be able to hear some of the VA's of the Stakes again (aside from pikasha and aki)? The roles handed to Yuri Yamaoka and Seiko Yoshida were limited, making me unable to measure how good they are. Hope I get to hear them more this season

That’s all for the snapshots, hahas this anime rocks! I’m not sure how many times I’m gonna said it, but it rocks! LOL… anw as most of you already know there are a few more anime recently just ended as well like example, Nyan Koi, Kampfer, Umineko no Naku Koro ni, 11 Eyes and Seitokai no Ichizon… Well in few more days, New Year 2010 is gonna come which means that, more and more awesome anime are coming as well like, Code Geass season 3 / Code Geass r3 and Shakugan no Shana season 3. As a anime lover myself, let’s hope for the best next year. (:
