La sensualidad es un elemento clave en la vida, está en todo lo que nos rodea, desde cosas tan básicas como la comida, hasta otra tan elemental y cotidiana como la ropa. La sensualidad, pues, viene a ser un aderezo fundamental que despierta pasión. Muchas veces se presenta de manera fortuita, es decir, no se da con intención de provocar pensamientos impuros.
El ecchi es un poco de todo lo que mencionamos unas lineas arriba, es sensualidad pura, sin caer en lo vulgar o en lo fácil. Puede presentarse de formas muy tenues y finas, como podría ser enseñar un poco más de lo normal sin causar tanto revuelo. Dentro del fascinante mundo del anime, encontramos un sinnúmero de series donde se presenta el ecchi, de las cuales hablaremos más adelante.
Así que no se diga más y entremos de lleno al tema, para mostrar todo lo que tiene que ver con el Ecchi.
El Ecchi es uno de los generos de manga y anime más controvertidos. Consiste en darle al publico lo que desea; proporcionarle a un grupo de personajes femeninos atractivos y entrañables, un argumento en ocasiones divertido y siempre agil, y situaciones sensuales y, ¿por qué no?, algún elemento de atractivo visual, que nunca está de más. Todo eso sin que parezca demasiado gratuito… y sin que bordee en lo hentai…

Parece fácil, ¿no?, sin embargo no lo es. Hay que tener en cuenta que ese tipo de series están planeadas para entrar en un horario juvenil, en el que también puede haber niños como espectadores y poner algo demasiado descarado es coquetear con la censura o con sanciones gubernamentales severas; así que es fundamental buscar buenos argumentos y justificaciones.
El ecchi ha evolucionado con el tiempo. Go Nagai es considerado creador del genero, ya que sus dibujos de mujeres eran extremadamente sensuales, y usaban ropas muy cortas o muy ajustadas, además de explotar fuertes dosis de erotismo. Sus historias podían ser de terror o de comedia, y de vez en cuando… o aveces con mucha peculiaridad, se podían ver desnudos parciales, como en el caso de Harenchi Gakouen . Aún en el caso de series dirigidas a un público infantil como Mazinger Z, a veces usaba una que otra escena de panchira (mostrar pantaletas) usando a la pobre de Sayaka con esas minifalditas que usaba. Go Nagai rompió un esquema del manga al apartarse del dibujo de la mujer delgada y estilizada, para imponer la forma curvilinea y voluptuosa… que el autor tomó de las revistas Playboy de aquellas épocas.

Y en efecto, el estilo ecchi de los setentas es así, con personajes femeninos curvilineos, minifaldas a medio muslo, blusa o chaleco escolar razonablemente ajustado, sensuales y atractivas, sin llegar a ser vulgares; las tomas de la cámara frontales o laterales con movimiento sólo para apoyar las tomas de acción.
Ya para los ochenta el panorama se volvería un poquito más descarado, y aquí podemos hecharle la culpa a una mujer: Rumiko Takahashi y su personaje Lum de Urusei Yatsura. Lum usaba un bikini atigrado (muy retacado, pero para esa epoca era muy sugestivo) y se hacian bromas directas de acoso a las mujeres usando a un protagonista pervertido.
Dneska je to na mě, mimo jiné proto, že HPK to zalomil velice brzo, tudíž by toho sem stejně moc nenapsal. Aspoň že něco naspal:).
Na této AFN byla účast tradičně velice chabá, ale řekl bych, že to bylo spíše k dobru. HPK, já a Honza. Na Paranoia Agent se vůbec nedostalo, jestli je to dobře/špatně netuším, protože se na něj nedostalo. Ale možná by byl lepší, než níže zmiňovaný Claymore…
Škoda těch čtyř hodin strávených sledováním Claymore (dotáhnul jsem to k HPK po shlédnutí sedmi dílů, domnívajíc se, že to bude pokračovat stejně dobře, jako to začalo – omyl). Jak HPK správně odhadl někdy po deseti dílech, zbleachovatělo to. Až moc. A vůbec, nebudu to rozebírat, HPK slíbil report. Mohli jsme ten čas zužitkovat mnohem líp. No, pozdě bycha honit.
Pak jsme si naštěstí svou chybu uvědomili (to už pán domu vedle chrápal), a začali se s Honzou vzájemně obohacovat o mnohem kvalitnější kusy. Já mu ukázal má oblíbená dílka - Samurai Champloo, Welcome to the NHK, on mě zasvětil do právě vysílaného Bakemonogatari, za což jsem mu vděčný.
Někdy po svítání se naše vůle zlomila a další čtyří hodiny jsme strávili pařbou Soulcalibur IV. K naší obraně musím podotknout, že je to taky anime.
Přemýšlím jak zakočit své i vaše trápení a napadá mě jediná věta – koukejte příště dorazit, vžycky to stojí za to!

(The following is a review I posted at Netflix for Blue Seed: Beyond, the sequel to the wonderful anime Blue Seed.)
The original Blue Seed is my favorite anime; it has everything I like about the form, Blue Seed Beyond, however, doesn’t live up to its predecessor. These three episodes feel more like a coda or an epilogue –or even an afterthought– than a true continuation of the story of Momiji and the TAC.
The first two episodes tell the story of a reappearance of the arigami, only this time as a mad plot by a US scientist. (Blue Seed has always had a hint of Japanese nationalism to it.) While all the main characters appear, and we learn what has happened to most of them in the intervening two years, the story is quite rushed, especially in comparison to the pace of the original series.
The third episode is unrelated to the first two: the women of the TAC travel to a Japanese hot spring to enjoy the baths, and a terrorist plans to blow them up. The highlight for me comes when Kome, my favorite character, tracks the bad guy to his lair. Things go wrong and her reaction is typically “Kome.” The animation is good, though sometimes strange. At times, Kome looks like an identical twin to Momiji. The rest of the characters look mostly like themselves from the original series, however. The voice acting is adequate, though the English-language actor for Kusinagi just doesn’t compare to his predecessor.
It must be noted that this series give in far more to “fan service” than the original series: Momiji has grown from a flat chest to a very full “C” (thus killing one of her humorous anxieties from the first series), while all the women of the TAC regularly run around semi-nude. I’ve no objection to nudity or sexuality in anime, but this much feels out of place and, indeed, gratuitous in Blue Seed. Parents who let their kids watch the original series might want to preview these episodes.
Overall, for those who are new to Blue Seed, rent the original series first; it’s surprisingly good. For fans who have already seen the original, rent Blue Seed 2, but don’t expect too much.

Long time no post. What happened to me is really bad. But I do not want to sink and try to cheer up again.
Preparing himself to join the Society club which is roled by Seika, Teppei works hard to change his “common” habits to become better while holding Arima name. Insulting his past as Soba’s son, I mean Soba shop owner’s son, Seika really be vexing this time. Don’t hate her, she just be envious.
“Common” habits refers to non-elite behaviours like yawning and walk crooked. Silvie, Charlotte and Yuu work together to change Teppei to be an elite of the elites. As expeted, Teppei feels some services from the girls in course of training. How to drink, how to walk, how to talk and how to dance, Teppei must learn all of them and finally, he slips away from Seika’s first test. Wait, first? yes, the second is Teppei must host his own party in the mansion next week. Looks like this is only an overextended story to see princesses again or, to see Yuu in luxurious dress. Still in the end, I believe Seika will accept Teppei -what an easy story-
So… the episode begins with Kyouraku and Ukitake talking about the number of casualties from each squad, as a result of the zanpaktou rebellion. Unohana comes into the room, and Ukitake is the sweet, leader figure that he is loved for, and asks about Rukia’s condition. Unohana is honest, and says that she will be fine, but that her injuries were severe, and that she had not yet regained consciousness. She then basically tells us what we already know – the zanpaktou have become completely independent of their Shinigami, and, if they are not careful, they could end up destroying them.
Somewhere else, Renji is wandering around, and, for like the tenth time, we see the scene where Byakuya was attacked, and Renji wonders where he is. He then hears a voice, and looks around to see who it it.
Back with Squad Four, Rukia begins to wake up. Kotetsu asks her if she is awake (when she obviously is), and tells her to take it easy, as she hadn’t yet fully recovered. Apparently, somebody found her and brought her to Squad Four. We have another flashback, of Muramasa talking about using her, ect. Rukia worries about Ichigo, but Kotetsu tells her that they cannot spare people for search parties, as things are too desperate.
Meanwhile, Ichigo is lying around inside his soul, and… yes, another flashback of him fighting Zangetsu (this is starting to look like an excuse to fill up five minutes of this episode with clips from last episode, but, oh well…). Muramasa appears, and says that he could enter his soul because he is also a zanpaktou. He then says that he killed his owner (!), and asks about Ichigo’s power. Ichigo refuses to answer, and attacks, but is easily stopped by Muramasa.
In the meantime, Renji is talking to the person who appeared before, and does not know who they are. The woman says that they have been holding hands for years, and Renji says that he has never been involved with any hairy woman (:D Renji was so serious that it was hillarious). The woman pulls out some other little girl from behind her, who is balancing on a snake-like tail, and says that she is sure that he remembers her now. Renji finally gets it, and proclaims that she is his zanpaktou, but in human form, rather then the monkey and snake that we are so used to. Then, the two women stant arguing, and Renji suggests having their conversation later, but they say that he won’t be leaving in one piece.
At this time, Muramasa is talking to Ichigo, telling him to act upon instinct, and Ichigo realises that he cannot move. A hole opens in Ichigo’s heart, and lots of hands come out and wrap around him, causing him to scream out in pain. Hollow Ichigo separates from Ichigo.
Renji is fighting with Zabimaru, and says that he has no reason to attack, and so, doesn’t draw his sword. Zabimaru isn’t quite as merciful, heading straight in to attack.
Hollow Ichigo and Muramasa are talking, and Ichigo doesn’t get it. There is another flashback, but at least Muramasa is talking over it this time. Muramasa seems impressed with his power, but Hollow Ichigo asks him who he is. He says that he sets zanpaktou free, and has the ability to awaken their inner instincts, which makes Ichigo realise why Zangetsu and Sode no Shirayuki have rebelled. And, yes, there really is another flashback. Muramasa tries to take control of Hollow Ichigo, and is surprised when he attacks instead…. . To be continued…
