First conceptualized by Tensai Okamura, a renown animator and director, who has had experience in the professional animation field for a decade now, has finally completed his follow-up to the original, ‘Darker Than Black 2′, the sophomore will begin during October.
The original anime, ‘Darker Than Black’ was proclaimed as one of the more exceptional animes during 2007, the intermixture of dark-noir mise-en-scenes and supernatural elements were giving much praise, aswell as the harmony between the characters revolving around a spectacular and yet erratic narrative.
‘Darker Than Black 2′ (Darker than Black: Gemini of the Meteor) will, once again be animated by one of the most reputed animation companies in Japan; ‘Bones’ who were also involved with the likes of ‘Full Metal Alchemist’ (and its 2nd adaptation) and the strangely popular ‘Ouran High School Host Club’.
The show will commence around October, most likely taking over ‘Bakemongatari’s’ time slot once it finishes.
