A New Year, and New Decade. We’ve, seemingly, been to hell and back this past decade, but when haven’t we? I’m actually glad as to how everything has turned out, even if some things seem bad just take this into consideration: There could’ve been a WWIII.
It really wasn’t as bad as people say it was. Some actions that the US government took may have even saved us from having to deal with anything later. Al-Qaeda had been around for a while, and still are. They had potential to gather more people under their ’cause’ but the US crushed the majority of them. Large-scale battle was prevented. I’m not saying that justifies any actions taken, but it was something good that came out of all that. I could go on, but let’s save that for a day that I have hours to spend.
Just ’cause, I feel like tossing out a few predictions, some of which are obviously right and others will make you think I’m insane. But let’s just roll with it.
Predictions for the Year:
- Reemergence of Bin Laden.
- ‘Hot Zone’ moves into Pakistan.
- Kyo-Ani teases more Haruhi.
- Tighter airport security around the world.
- New iPhone/iPods/iSlate/iDon’tCare
- Official launch of the Google Nexus One
- More hurr over Code Geass (which I will be taking part in)
- Nobody will capture Bin Laden.
Out of them all, only a couple are really guesses. So let’s add more~
Predictions for the Decade:
- First Contact.
- First Manned Mission to Mars (1st MMM)
- Beginning Construction of Moon Colony.
- Breakthrough in Cancer Cure research.
- The end of Touhou.
- ‘End of the World’ as we know it now. (Think of it as a New Age, not an end.)
- We finally get out flying cars (Rejoice~!)
- New tech that’ll allow us to travel near light speed.
- WWIII (We’re humans sadly…)
- First Hispanic President.
- Legalization of (Medical) Marijuana in the US and other nations.
- Rise of another Global superpower (*cough*China*cough*).
And to finish this post of lists.
New Year’s Resolutions:
- Get a GED.
- Get a job.
- Get into college.
- Draw more.
- Write more.
- Post more.
- Don’t be as lazy.
- Fail one or more New Years resolutions.
So I’m guaranteed one.

I should’ve done a year in review but I was way too lazy. And I should’ve done the reviews for the completed series’ but oh well. This year will start with a clean islate. Anything from last year will not be finished (some things will but most won’t). This year means: Anime Reviews, Picture of the Day, and getting around more in the anime/touhou communities. Also, I may be borrowing ‘Videos for the Week’. Maybe. I’ll probably get a domain when I have the money. Nothing is final yet. I’ll decide by the fifteenth what will and what won’t continue or be added.
