It’s the anniversary of the National Geographic Society being started in DC in 1888.
and oh yea-that tablet thing too.
I’m totally failing at the blogging thing today. Sorry M. I just don’t feel like looking for stuff and the copy/pasting back and forth and blah blah blah blah
But I’ll try my best.
I totally want this Twilight Zone bobblehead from Bif Bang Pow! Toys. They are also developing a Venture Bros line, which will make me squeel like a little girl once they’re released. {Bif Bang Pow! Blogspot}
Topless Robot had asked its’ readers to send in their “Nerd Commandments“. They did, and they are all very funny. The best is certainly the #1 Law of the Golden Mean. Sadly I have succumbed to this rule, buying things I didn’t want but had to. {Topless Robot}
Varient Deadpool covers aplenty from Marvel! Ryan Reynolds was amazing as Deadpool in the Wolverine movie, until they made him into some freak weirdo with a sewn-shut mouth. I’m hoping the movie will be a lot of him, as normal comic book Deadpool, kicking butt and sassing his way through the film. If they try and pick up where the Wolverine movie left off so help me ::shakes angry fist in the air:: {Newsarama} (side note-Deadpool can’t be on a too serious varient ala that Cap America one)
Possible Bible Black live-action trailer? Um…while it’s an excellent anime, it’s also considered hentai and a live action trailer would just be…well…porn. And if you know anything about Japanese porn it’s that it’s not very good, and usually horrible production quality as well. For research matters(and likely lolz) I will keep tabs on possible updates. {Anime News Network}
If you’re in NYC you should def check out the Japan Society Gallery-especially for the upcoming spring exhibit showcasing 150 Works by Legendary 19th Century Print Maker Utagawa Kuniyoshi. Kuniyoshi was a print maker who went beyond the standard and created prints featuring ghouls, monsters, battles, beautiful ladies, and more. His illustrations are gorgeous examples of the ukiyo-e style of art. {Japan Society}
